Career Development

I am currently enrolled in a course for Career Development. It’s about assisting and developing the sensitivity, knowledge, and skills needed to provide career services to clients of all age levels, genders, sexual orientations, racial groups, and ethnic groups.

Today I was asked: What would be a fantasy/dream job of yours today? Upon reflecting on this question, I felt it appropriate to share my answer with everyone who follows my work.

My fantasy job is what I am currently doing this very moment and hopefully for the rest of my life. Helping people who fall through the cracks of social assistance, ensuring they comprehend and utilize techniques that not only help them subsist in a complex working environment but to attain their goals, reach solvency with fiscal responsibility — assisting them in accepting personal responsibility for their actions and working to mitigate victimhood for personal growth. Some of these individuals simply require low-cost housing with little intervention, and others may need mental health therapy they cannot afford and do not have the ability to attend due to time and work constraints.
